Management Team

Go joined NTT in 1997 and acquired his MBA in 2003 after which he worked as a consultant at a U.S. affiliated consulting firm for 3 years. Later, he was responsible as a supervisor at Hoshino Ski Resort where he managed business operations. After meeting an unfortunate accident while skiing and escaped life-and-death situation, he was determined to realize his dream to open up more possibilities in the world through building innovative education services. Founded Arcterus Co., Ltd. in October 2010 together with Yoshiki Shiraishi after about 3 years of preparation.

Goichiro Arai

CEO

Yoshiki joined Fujitsu in 1997 and then entered Keio Business School in 2001. He was involved in a technology venture capital establishment right after graduation and invested in total of 8 companies, including Acucela Inc. In 2007, he assumed the position of CFO at one of the companies he invested in. After selling business to CellMid, he took part as a board member in multiple venture companies. Founded Arcterus Co., Ltd. in October 2010 together with Goichiro Arai.

Yoshiki Shiraishi

COO/CFO

After graduating from Waseda Business School, Yusuke acted as a trader and fund manager at a major asset management company. He then assumed the role of CEO at Viling Venture Partners which specializes in seed investments in the field of education. He is currently active as a board director as well as co-founder of ProtoStar Inc. since December 2016. Yusuke is continuously involved in building entrepreneur and creator community in various regions in Japan like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Fukuoka, etc while providing entrepreneurship support in the education field. Board Director of Arcterus Co., Ltd. since June 2015.

After graduating from faculty of economics at Yokohama National University, Jun started his career by providing support for IPOs as an auditor. He was then actively engaged in M&A advisory business at Nomura Securities Co. after which he took up responsibility in business plan development at Yahoo! JAPAN. He was soon in charge of M&A, business investments as well as business turnaround project at Livedoor Co., Ltd. He established AOBA Accountants & Advisors in 2014 to provide IPO and M&A services where he is currently active as a director. Auditor of Arcterus Co. Ltd. since June 2015.
